Heat 5 tablespoons olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
After 1-2 minutes when oil is hot, crack your egg into the skillet, add salt and pepper. (Oil will bubble, it's okay!)
Cook for about 2 minutes. Rotate the skillet occasionally, until the edges of your egg are golden and crisp. For an extra crispy egg, leave it on the skillet for another 30 seconds.
